Wird is an app for adhkar, counters, reminders, prayer times and the Qibla direction. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. The app has no ads and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and a unique account ID through Google Firebase Authentication. We use them only to sign you in and keep your data in sync.
• Your content. The lists, adhkar, counters, counts and reminders you create are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your account so they sync across your devices. Only you can read or change them.
• Usage and diagnostics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example screens opened, features used, app version, device model and operating system). The advertising ID is not collected and ad personalisation is turned off.

Information that stays on your phone

• Location. If you choose “Use my location”, the app reads your approximate location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. The location is stored only on your phone and is never sent to our servers. To show your city name, your phone's built-in location service may look up the coordinates with Google; we do not receive or store them. You can choose a city from a list instead.
• Prayer and app settings, such as calculation method, alarms, language and text size, are stored only on your phone.

How we use information

To provide the app's features, sync your content between your devices, send the reminders and alarms you set, and improve the app. We do not use your information for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Data is processed by Google as our service provider (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Google Analytics for Firebase) under Google's terms. Google's servers may be located outside your country.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit. Access to your synced content is restricted to your own signed-in account.

Retention and deletion

Your account and content are kept until you delete them. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from the app (gear icon on the Adhkar tab, then “Delete account and all data”) or by emailing us. See how to delete your account. Usage statistics that are not linked to your account may be kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting hello@fwz.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Wird is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the effective date above.
